160M: 160M Evaporator
Mermaid's 190M bendable evaporator plate is designed to refrigerate and/or freeze and area with good insulation of no more than 5 cubic feet for refrigeration and 2.0 cubic feet for a freezer. It is ideal for top and front opening boxes.
The second of the five bendable evaporator plates manufactured by Mermaid, the 160M is designed with ease of installation in mind. Provided pre-charged and pre-drilled for mounting, the 160M plate is ideal for top or front opening boxes with refrigeration and freezing in mind. Each Mermaid evaporator plate is provided with the quick connections pre-installed.
The plate is bendable to a minumum radius of 1.5" and needs to be done accurately and carefully using a 2" PVC pipe and only in the designated bending areas. For optimal performance, it is recommended to mount the plate on the side wall of the box. Ensure that the inlet/outlet refrigeration tube is located near the top of the box.
